A Brief Testimony from Billy:
While pursuing a career in the country music field for five years, singing in nightclubs and dance halls, I saw or met night after night either drunk or drug up "has been" musician. I became afraid of becoming just another "has been" drunk country music singer and felt there had to be more in life than this. I truly felt there had to a bigger purpose for my life. May 4, 1980, my wife Darleen and I were invited to First Baptist Church in Lytle, Texas, by a wonderful family and I heard the Gospel message about how God can give you purpose in life. At the end of that message the pastor asked everyone if you were to die today, do you know were you would spend eternity. At that moment, I knew I needed a savior. I prayed and received Jesus that Sunday and my life has not been the same.
A Brief Testimony from Darleen:
In May 5, 1972, I was invited to a youth rally at my High School football stadium, feeling hopeless, unloved, and with no direction in my life. That night I heard the message of a Savior who loved me just as I was. That night I committed my life to Jesus Christ and from that day forward I will live my life for God, a sinner saved by His grace.

To challenge Gods people to live their life that is bigger than them and to the fullness of purpose that God has intended. For the lost to come to faith in Jesus Christ and to then see their lives transformed.
We both have a passion for God to be made known to all people, starting in our own Jerusalem and then the nations with Africa in particular. We have a great love for the outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping and adventure.
